Madrid begins The preparation of the new Plan of air quality

 The environmental and mobility area of government of Madrid has met with technical experts in the environment and sustainability and neighborhood associations for the preparation of the new Plan of Air Quality and Climate Change.

 Objectives of the Plan:

·      Protection and prevention of the health effects of pollution and the environmental quality of the city.

·      Respect of the maximum limits permitted by the European and Spanish legislation and the limits recommended by the World Health Organization for emissions of polluting gases.

 Action programs:

 The axes on which this municipal project will be supported are:

·      Program of regeneration and urban naturalization.

·       Sustainable Mobility Program.

·      Program of information and raising public awareness.
